Balmain, a French luxury clothing and accessory brand was founded by Pierre Balmain post world war 2. With his love of fashion and eye for design, Pierre Balmain opened his first couture house in the Rue Francois 1er. His first collection was quickly launched in 1945 which lead to a blossoming relationship between himself and Christian Dior.
