In regards to sunglasses, the overall weight and feel of designer glasses are heavier, with impeccably smooth hinges and perfect seams. In order to see if the glasses you are looking to purchase are real, take the temple bars and move them back and forth, it should glide like ice. Next, run your nail along all the seams and look for anything out of place. Designer glasses will either have no seams, or they will appear clean and straight. These are the two easiest ways to spot a fake.

In addition, you can easily spot a fake if the logo looks out of place or glued on after the fact. With shoddy fakes you will know the second you set your eyes upon the poor design recreations, but with higher end fakes, one of the key pieces fakers mess up is, ironically, the logo. On glasses as well as purses you often see misprinted logos, or misshaped designs. If you know anything about the logo for the company you hope to buy from then start by examine and comparing these.
