Retro sunglasses back in style

In 2007 and 2008 retro sunglasses were officially back in style. Not only were styles and colors from the 70’s back in style, but the latest trends (and 2009 projections) indicate that retro will have new meaning with a flashback even further to the 60’s and 50’s. Justin Chambers, of Grey’s Anatomy was recently seen in horn-rimmed retro glasses. A few years ago this would have been style suicide, but in 2008 it’s a miracle of fashion.


Perhaps spurred by the sudden surge of 1950-70 films, Hollywood stars have gone retro happy. From Mad Men to Married Life, Hollywood is heaving a long and drawn out nostalgic sigh that we expect to continue well into 2009.
